Every brand has a first drop. Most of them play it safe — generic graphics, proven aesthetics, nothing that could alienate anyone. Drop 01 from Skribi went a different way. Here's what each piece is actually about and why it ended up in the collection.
Where It Started
Skribi is a Karachi brand. Not in the sense that it's based here logistically, but in the sense that the city is actually in the work. Karachi has a specific energy — chaotic, resilient, loud, occasionally overwhelming — and that's what Drop 01 is built around. Not all of it literally, but all of it emotionally.
The brief for every piece was the same: make something that means something to someone who actually lives here. Not a tourist's version of Pakistan. Not a generic streetwear aesthetic borrowed from somewhere else. Something specific.
KARACHEE
The most literal piece in the drop. Karachi has had a lot of names over the years and this tee is for anyone who knows what the city actually feels like from the inside — not the version people talk about on the news or in policy reports, the version you navigate every day.
The back graphic is a detailed illustration of the city. Buildings, buses, the chaos of it. The front chest has a smaller mark. It's a tee for people who have a relationship with this place, complicated or otherwise.
NOW I SEE YOU
A small eye graphic on the front chest. Flip it around and the whole back is the same eye, scaled up. The idea is simple: you were always there. Some people just weren't paying attention.
NOW I SEE YOU reads differently depending on who's wearing it and what they're thinking about. That's intentional. The best graphics don't tell you what to feel.
MENTAL DESTRUCTION
The most intense piece in the drop. The back graphic is deliberately chaotic — layered type, distorted visuals, everything happening at once. It's designed to look like what it feels like when your brain won't slow down.
The idea wasn't to make something edgy for the sake of it. It was to make something honest about a specific experience — being overwhelmed, keeping going anyway, not having a clean way to explain it to anyone. A lot of people know that feeling. This one's for them.
DREAMS
The back graphic is a person's silhouette, but look closer and the whole thing is constructed from smaller fragments — images, moments, pieces of something you can't fully name. The kind of dreams that don't leave you alone.
It's the most detailed piece in Drop 01 in terms of the graphic work. The DREAMS tee has a small mark on the front chest to balance it. The back does everything.
DREAM BIG
The simplest piece and in some ways the most direct. Red typography on black. Front only. No back graphic, no complexity — just the words and what you do with them.

The Blanks
Five graphic tees and then a plain heavyweight line. The Blanks exist because a 170 GSM drop shoulder tee in a clean colour is genuinely hard to find in Pakistan at a reasonable price. Black, Navy, White, and Grey. No print, no graphic — just the construction.
They're not an afterthought. They're for people who want the same quality without the graphic.
